Trace anomaly contribution to hydrogen atom mass

چکیده
We compute trace anomaly contribution to hydrogen atom mass, which turns out be related the part of Lamb shift. To best our knowledge, this is a first model independent calculation bound state. This finding might shed new light on understandings mass structure QCD states, such as, heavy quarkonium.

Classical Trace Anomaly
We seek the analogy of the mathematical form of the alternative form of Einstein's field equations for Lovelock's field equations. We find that the price for this analogy is to accept the existence of the trace anomaly of the energy-momentum tensor even in classical treatments.
متن کاملTrace anomaly driven inflation
This paper investigates Starobinsky's model of inflation driven by the trace anomaly of conformally coupled matter fields. This model does not suffer from the problem of contrived initial conditions that occurs in most models of inflation driven by a scalar field. The universe can be nucleated semi-classically by a cosmological instanton that is much larger than the Planck scale provided there ...
متن کاملHydrogen Atom-formaldehyde Reaction
where H-H-C and H-D-C are weak bonds and make a negligible contribution, leads to a value of -2 kcal. Therefore, E5-E2=1 kcal compared with the experimental value of 1.0 kcal. The preexponential factor for this pair of isotopic reactions can be calculated from the difference in the entropies of activation. Using the same loose complex as above and applying the expression derived by Bigeleisens ...
متن کاملQuantum Tunneling and Trace Anomaly
We compute the corrections, using the tunneling formalisim based on a quantum WKB approach, to the Hawking temperature and Bekenstein-Hawking entropy for the Schwarzschild black hole. The results are related to the trace anomaly and are shown to be equivalent to findings inferred from Hawking’s original calculation based on path integrals using zeta function regularization. Finally, exploiting ...
متن کاملStructure of the Hydrogen Atom
It was demonstrated recently[1] that the correct mathematical expression for the total energy H of a particle is H = mv, where m is the relativistic mass and v is the velocity; not H = mc as was widely believed. In this paper, the equation H = mv will be used to calculate the energy levels in the spectrum of the hydrogen atom. It is demonstrated that the well-known Sommerfeld-Dirac formula is s...
